High control of Inventory to ensure high efficiencies
React to market demand to ensure supply from Traders
Participate and lead logistics related projects
Support and liaise with sales and operation team on order and supply management
Propose and investigate cost saving initiatives
Regular status / communication reporting to customers / traders
Ensure that all logistics paperwork is accurate and produced in a timely manner
Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely supply of product
Liaise with carriers to ensure there are sufficient trailers for loading on time every time
Ensure key business partners are updated on a daily basis with details on any supply issues that may arise
Liaise with Department of Agriculture to ensure Veterinary procedures are always upheld
Investigate new market opportunities, assuring approval & lifting barriers to trade in new countries
Stock controlling and rotation
Credit Control
Any other support as per business demands
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Experience in logistics would be desirable but not essential
Excellent data entry, excel and outlook skills is a key requirement
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Flexibility and ability to manage change
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required. Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland.
