Achieve and maintain efficient and effective standards of cleaning

Hygiene Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
Ensure all aspects of the hygiene service are carried out and maintained to the required standard
General cleaning of the building, keeping it maintained and in good condition
Clean and sanitise designated areas, including restrooms, offices, break rooms, hallways, changing rooms and common areas
Keep canteen and brake rooms tidy and clean
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or scrub floors
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, cabinets, lockers, and fixtures
Clean windows, doors, walls, ceiling, mirrors, and glass surfaces
Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc
Perform cleaning duties as per prescribed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual cleaning schedules
Adhere to the cleaning sequences as outlined per the Hygiene Management System
Audit your own work and complete the requisite cleaning records to verify acceptable standards of cleaning have been met
Monitor stock levels of chemicals and report to the senior staff when these are depleted
Perform your duties in line with the detailed cleaning instructions and standard operating procedures (SOP’s/CIC) and schedules for every hygiene activity to meet the requirements of good cleaning practice
Manage the segregation, storage and timely removal of all waste – recyclables, landfill, hazardous and confidential waste
Work as part of a team and support colleagues
Flexible to cover different shifts/plants
Flexible in terms of any other cleaning duties as directed by Supervisor/ Manager
Ensure your cleaning, and personal protective equipment are functioning correctly at all times
Support your colleagues /teams on day-to-day activities
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
Previous experience essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Clear communications skills
Understands and follows instruction
Have positive can do attitude
Ability to work effectively under pressure of time
Willing to share knowledge with others
Able to understand and implement good manufacturing practices
Capable of working independently or as part of a team
Understanding of site hygiene and health and safety
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required. Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland.
