Responsible for the operation of the automated evaporation system and ancillary equipment
Reports to:
Evaporator Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Operation and adjustment of the Evaporation and supply equipment
Maintain operations data such as time, production units and Quality information
Plan and establish work schedules, assignments and production
Report to the Production Manager on a daily basis with all relevant production information and detail any non-conformances
Report to the technical team any non-conformances and action taken
Report any machine problems to the engineering department
Monitoring of productivity and performance of the Packing department meeting all relevant KPI’s
Participate in Manufacturing/Operations meetings regarding maintenance as required
Ensuring that the highest levels of quality and workmanship are maintained and all required training needs for the function are met
Maintain a clean and tidy working area
Skills / Qualifications / Experience:
3 years in a similar role in a Manufacturing environment is essential
A food based diploma is desirable but not essential
Technical operator experience essential
Experience in understanding and using computerized controls preferred
Understanding of pumps and control valves preferred
Experience with chemicals and hot liquid handling preferred
Experience in CIP of food production equipment preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills are essential
Strong negotiation skills are essential
Ability to multi-task is essential
Clear demonstration of an ability to provide guidance and motivation to others is required
Working hours must be flexible
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Arrow Group business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required. Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland
